2007 Field Day

Working with staff at the University of Missouri’s Bradford Farm in Columbia, Missouri, the goal of this field day was to install three test drainage plots with varying spacing options. The experiment would also include a control plot without drainage. The plan was to fully install the three test plots over the course of the two-day event in order for local landowners to see the progress throughout the event. Landowners were able to see the installation and learn about the project’s design, products, and supplies from research scientists and contractors. Unfortunately, a heavy rain storm stopped us from progressing beyond the first day, so the installation of the remaining test plots was postponed until 2008.
